There was a report in one of the torchons this week that The Chase Around The World will not be commissioned for a second series. In the same article it did say that ITV had neither confirmed nor denied this – well, I have no idea if there is any more substance to it than a rumour. I hope not. As I’ve said consistently I really enjoyed the series. There’s still a lot of water left to flow under our bridge before the awards season comes round, but if it makes a strong bid for this year’s LAMMY I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised.
