If I can scrape a point out of Sylvia Plath I reckon there’s
just a chance I might get points in all 4 of these rounds. The banker round?
Well, I usually do okay on British Kings and Queens, but the Roger Moore years
of James Bon look an even better bet for me. Now that I’ve said that I’ll
probably score 0 on it.
Coming back to Sylvia Plath, I distinctly remember when I
was studying English Literature over 40 years ago, whenever Ted Hughes’ name
was mentioned a sizeable chorus would always pipe up “The wife-murderer!” Of
course, Ted Hughes did not murder Sylvia Plath. They were separated when Sylvia
Plath committed suicide in 1963.
