Yes, thanks to Weavers Week, I know that University Challenge starts again tomorrow evening. The BBC2 listings site says that it University of Edinburgh v. University of Warwick. Its funny to think of UC starting in the height of summer, when we know that the Grand Final of the series won't actually be shown until next year ! Still, the longer the series, and the more editions, the better.
I noticed also that its followed by Antiques Master, not necessarily everyone's quiz of choice, but look on it perhaps of a gentle reintroduction to the power hour of Monday evening TV quizzes.

It's gonna be good to have the show back again after all these weeks Dave. It's been a while.
I wonder if they've redone the set and titles, as the old ones have been used for some time now, perhaps it's time for a change. Somehow, I doubt it, but we'll wait and see.

We also have the return of Pointless with a series of 5 celeb specials, then next week Pointless takes The Wekest Links place on BBC1, while TWL shifts to BBC2 @ 4:30. Now that TWL is ending, the BBC are pushing Pointless as the new big replacement.

Thanks for that ! I think its probably fair to say that Paul is by far the funniest serious quizzer out there. GP - Comedian - Chaser - that's quite some CV to boast ! Good quizzer too !
