He took every single one of his team’s 11 starters – and 11 is a ridiculous number of starters for one individual to get in one show. A fantastic performance. CWDP-303 dumpsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5401280171563686515.post-51710124202209946772019-02-25T15:11:46.562-08:002019-02-25T15:11:46.562-08:00Not only could St Edmund Hall's score of 190 b...Not only could St Edmund Hall's score of 190 be the highest score with only 1 player getting any starters right, but it is also possible that Emmanuel's score of 55 is the lowest to have included correct starters from all 4 team members.Paul Gilberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08942358761328378374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5401280171563686515.post-15857612455904343632019-02-25T09:26:09.347-08:002019-02-25T09:26:09.347-08:00Enjoyable match and fantastic performance by Fredd...Enjoyable match and fantastic performance by Freddy Leo (answering all of Teddy Hall’s 11 correct starters). He seems to have become something of a star (e.g. on the BBC website) based on this performance.

Of course both of the team captains from are now at Oxford and as an interesting side note, I see that Mr Leo has recently been playing on Oxford B (alongside Mr. Peplow and Ms. Woodland from last year’s UC finalists Merton) and Ms. Cugini has been playing on Oxford C.

It will certainly be an interesting buzzing contest if/when Teddy Hall meet Darwin and Mr. Golfinos. I am glad to see that Mr. Leo doesn’t delay answering after buzzing for a couple of seconds unlike Mr. Golfinos (of course they get about a second extra thinking time from Roger Tilling reading out their name/College).

Finally I note that the recording of the 1st round (& I assume two second round) matches for UC 2019-20 will be finishing today (25th Feb) so more than 40% of the next UC season has already been filmed.qdx1https://www.blogger.com/profile/08491144415136995254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5401280171563686515.post-13749972420480468032019-02-23T03:24:58.170-08:002019-02-23T03:24:58.170-08:00Agreed with Aethelstan that Mr Leo's colleague...Agreed with Aethelstan that Mr Leo's colleagues are maybe a bit better prepared to pick up the slack should the starters not fall for him than other teams led by a star player in the past, but that's a matter for another game. Unlucky Emmanuel, but agreed that they're certainly not out of the tournament yet, just simply overpowered by Mr Leo on the buzzer this time.

On the bonuses, Emmanuel managed 5/12 and St Edmund Hall 19/33.

On Monday, Durham play Edinburgh, with the winners going through to the semis. Followed in the coming weeks by Glasgow vs Manchester, Bristol vs St Edmund Hall and Darwin vs Emmanuel.Jackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06254840979557920582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5401280171563686515.post-3492509718068856292019-02-23T02:35:48.541-08:002019-02-23T02:35:48.541-08:00I was looking forward to this one. I must say I expected this match to be closer, I was taken aback at the thumping dished out by Leo. I do think in some cases these Oxbridge games can be 'grudge' matches; we remember the punishment dished out last season with John's versus Corpus! I would say Emma still have a chance at the semi's, very much not out - but Teddy have nailed their colours to their mast. I shall expect them to stand and deliver. It's interesting to consider what may happen if Leo has an off day- my gut feeling is his team-mates may be better placed to take up the slack than, say the Darwin team and Golfinos.Aethelstanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00941291511056658074noreply@blogger.com
