Although the Chase is more entertainment than serious quiz, what with the banter with the villainous pros etc, I much prefer it. As I said above, the worst case in Eggheads is that a contestant only contributes to three answers, the Chase gives much more opportunity to contestants to contribute. I'd like to add, I find the Eggheads can be very smug!

Thinking about it some more I guess I'm saying that it's unsatisfying to PLAY rather than unsatisfying to watch. Nevertheless I very rarely put it on, whereas UC OC and MM I would never miss, and more often than not watch on iPlayer. So I stand by my earlier comment!Gavin Tillmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07008941854879044026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5401280171563686515.post-5294028979722263092014-08-21T11:44:34.684-07:002014-08-21T11:44:34.684-07:00Thanks dxdtdemon,

Playing Devil's advocate, Eggheads is still a popular show with a very loyal audience, and has been running for a long time. Mind you, that gives me an idea for another possible feature - the case for v. the case against - you, the public, decide. Watch this space.Londiniushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07871325359167581176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5401280171563686515.post-69324326262804835062014-08-20T16:35:30.633-07:002014-08-20T16:35:30.633-07:00Controversial suggestion for Hall of Shame: Egghea...Controversial suggestion for Hall of Shame: Eggheads. I don't get it. Any individual often gets asked three questions and that's it. Seems too small and so to an extent unsatisfying. At best you might get to collaborate on three further questions but then (apart from tie breaks) that is it. With so few luck is a big factor. Might do well or badly.
