I would like to think that I'd never be such a d*ck as to say "Don't you know that I won 'Mastermind' ? What on Earth do you think I want your help for ?!" , but it does grate on me when I have some unsuspecting QM think he's doing me a favour by offering me 'help'. If it's the first time you've been in a particular place, and you're on your own or there's only two of you a certain type of question master seems to find you an irresistible target for his largesse.

By the same token it's really galling to cudgel your brains to come up with a brilliant answer only to find out that the QM has been giving it out to all and sundry .Londiniushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07871325359167581176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5401280171563686515.post-41394102776545896712013-01-18T07:44:00.009-08:002013-01-18T07:44:00.009-08:00Hi David

One quiz I went to used to do the normal quiz and have the bingo quiz as a bonus round at the end, rather something separate altogether which was a good idea I thought.

Also the point you make about not knowing others scores always grates me. In one quiz I go to (Redtooth) the quiz master comes round the tables to take down scores. So all you really know is people close to you and whether you are winning. Most people don't care but it bugs me after spending time doing the quiz not to get a result. If he insists on coming round is it too much to ask to jot down scores on a piece of paper?

Almost bugs me as much as the quizmaster who likes to do a "half time tour" and give teams answers but Ill leave that for another day.DanielFullardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07635161450969202410noreply@blogger.com
