Yes, a quick reminder that Only Connect returns tonight. The teams are the Vegetarians, and the Social Networkers. I think I recognised Beth Webster, skipper of the Social Networkers, as a Masterminder from the 2007 SOBM, although I may be mistaken.

Sean Carey is a very good Quiz League of London player, and Beth plays regularly on the Grand Prix circuit (as does Sean).
ReplyDeleteI was disappointed that they hadn't used my suggestion of switching to Sumerian for the identifying symbols: "We'd like two horizontal lines, two vertical lines, two horizontal lines and a vertical line please, Victoria". La Coren looks even better in HD :)
